Last Saturday, the Art Directors Club Switzerland presented 195 awards for the very best that Switzerland had to offer in advertising and design in 2009. A total of nine golds were waiting to be collected. The Zurich agency Jung von Matt/Limmat won four of the prestigious gold cubes.
The jury only awards gold for work that they consider to be ground-breaking. Jung von Matt/Limmat<br /> was able to win over the jury with two radio ads ("Attention Assist", "Linguatronic" for Mercedes-Benz), a film ("Animal Farm" for Migros), and an advertisement ("Hybrid Text Modules" for Mercedes-Benz).
The fact that the prizes could be won for the prominent advertising budgets of Mercedes-Benz and Migros was particularly rewarding for the agency. In addition, Jung von Matt/Limmat received four silver cubes, five bronze and was short listed no less than 16 times.
Moreover, Jung von Matt/Limmat was presented with two of the three special prizes at the award ceremony. One for creative production for the film "Chocolate" and another for creative media for the online feature "No Friends" (Pro Senectute).
